We have seen some mega sized potholes but nothing like the one on Bucklow Avenue in Partington which has been deteriorating for some time.

The state of one part of the road is very dangerous for all users and mostly cyclists, having so much water over them its hard to see which presents a hidden danger.

We spoke to a resident who was also shocked at the state of it, she tells us “That new Trafford Labour councillor or any of them trying to grab her votes must have seen this”

Trafford Council has a very useful part of the website where you can report potholes and even fly tipping, if you see anything do not expect the next person to do anything including the councillors just report it yourself you could be saving a life or serious injury: https://my.trafford.gov.uk/Pages/Form%20Pages/ReportProblemWithRoadPavementOrRightOfWay.aspx

We can see the Bucklow Avenue potholes have now been reported by a resident and work should commence soon, we will keep our eyes on this one!

Not to far away on Sinderland Lane just past Whitehouse Lane before the farm the surface there is almost so bad its not safe for a road cyclist or any cyclist with narrow wheels, this part of the road was supposed to be sorted out with road closure notices on GM Roadworks but this for some reason was pulled or delayed.

Keep your eyes peeled and report anything you see to keep Trafford safe.
