Delays at the new Lidl store in Altrincham mean an early 2024 opening

Several delays in the construction of the new Lidl store at Altrincham Retail Park and a small change in the original application means the grand opening will be in early 2024.

A workman told us that all the electrics work has been completed and they are now just putting in the many fridges and freezers making sure they all work, once that is done, it will be just the isles left.

Once the food is in and the staff in place a date will be set for the opening of this huge store which the workman stated sometime in January, we cannot say exactly when but looking at the store it is very close to being complete.
