A weather warning has been issued for this Wednesday by Met Office for heavy rain to fall all over North West England.
Trafford is in the yellow zone weather warning, this means brooks and rivers could flood, roads with poor drainage will suffer and rarely electric supply might be an issue.
The best day to get out and about will be tomorrow (Boxing Day) with some sunshine although most parts will be overcast.
With Trafford experiencing heavy showers the ground will already be saturated and so expect parks and green spaces to be flooded.
The rest of the week is not looking great either with low pressure hanging around will mean heavy showers and windy weather.
If you happen to have a brand new waterproof jacket what a week to test it out!
