Police are appealing for information after being called to reports of a road traffic collision in Trevor Road, Flixton, on Christmas Eve 2023.

Shortly after 3.15am, it is believed that a Grey VW Polo collided with a parked vehicle. The passenger of the Golf was taken to hospital with serious injuries, not currently believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The driver, aged 18, was arrested on suspicion of failure to provide, and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He was subsequently charged with failing to provide and bailed to appear in court in February.

Anyone who may have dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from around the time of the incident and which may capture the vehicle is asked to get in touch with officers, quoting log 430 of 24/12/23.
