For those with type-2 diabetes and insulin resistance or even pre-diabetes you should be looking at your diet a lot more than normal but we can reveal something else you need to avoid.

For most people this additive is actually very helpful when they are in need of energy whilst doing sports, like sugar it gets into the blood stream very fast and spikes your blood sugar.

The additive is called Maltodextrine or sometimes called ‘Dextrine’ or E1400 this has a GI ranging from 105 to 136 so will spike your blood sugar very quickly, this has to be avoided for those with type 2 diabetes and Insulin resistance.

It is a crafty additive since the product will only have the amount of sugar listed but does not have to provide information on Maltodextrine, this is legal but may make you believe that something is low or have no sugar in the product when it has lots of it in disguise.

It gets worse if the product with Maltodextrine also has within the ingredients sugar and may even have fructrose or Glucose this has to be avoided even by people that have no diseases such as type 2 diabetes or insulin resistance.

We suggest to stop eating products with the additive included, most of these products are crisps, some energy drinks, frozen chips, Pizza, and some sports drinks and powders.

It is currently unknown if takeaways include food with Maltodextrine although we will update this article once more information is known.

Insulin resistance causes inflammation in the body, its a hormone that comes from the pancreas to lower your blood sugar levels, when it cannot do this on a regular basis and for maybe many years you then will more than likely be diagnosed with type-2 diabetes, the inflammation causes swelling in the midsection which people will be described as being over weight however its insulin resistance causing it due to a very bad diet.

Taking out Maltodextrine from your food and drink along with as much sugar as you can will see your blood sugar levels drop which will allow the insulin to perform better and soon enough you will see your weight drop and eventually you will reverse your diabetes and have the all clear.

If you have type 2 diabetes we suggest to have a diet with lots of salads and fish, and stay away from pastries and crisps, sweets and ice cream and if you can drink bottled water or zero sugar fizzy drinks if you need that sweet taste, having a treat now and then won’t hurt but make it small.
