Emergency services were called to a three car collision at the junction of Whitehall Road and Brooklands Road in Sale on Sunday 15 January 2023 at around 6.30pm
It seems first to respond was Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) and soon after North West Ambulance who came and helped the injured at the scene although it is believed no one was seriously injured in this collision.
Brooklands road was closed off for several hours after the crash.
A spokesperson for GMFRS said: “At just after 6.30pm yesterday (Sunday 15 January), fire crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Whitehall Road and Brooklands Road, Sale.
“Two fire engines from Sale and Altrincham and the technical response unit from Ashton-under-Lyne were called to the incident which involved three vehicles.
“The fire crews arrived quickly and used specialist equipment to extricate one person from a vehicle and the driver was given treatment at the roadside we also worked with colleagues from the ambulance service.”
This was the third crash all in different circumstances in a row oddly on a Sunday within a mile of each other.
