UK successfully tests a laser weapon costing just £10 to run

A laser weapon that costs no more than £10 to run has been successfully tested by government scientists and developed by UK industries working with the Government’s defence Labs.

These weapons will bring down drones, missiles and aircraft and actually cost £100m to test them at a MOD site in the Hebrides.

The name of these lasers are called ‘Dragonfire’ which is a laser energy directed weapon will be used on every ship sailing, and likely in the near future will be many on UK land, they could be also fitted to vehicles and tanks if they can be fitted.

Laser energy weapons have been tested on the battlefield before with a thing called ‘Active Denial System’ this used exactly the same beam as MMWave (Millimetre Wave) used in 5G antennas, although the frequency is 95GHz it was tested on a gang of men and many got third degree burns from the laser, MMWave 5G will start at 27GNz and once 3G is switched off will increase to around 40GHz and in the near future these antennas fitted on lampposts will go way past 95GHz.

Some people tell the story that its all about the power, well a MMWave antenna is between 320 and 450 watts, this new Dragonfire laser is in the 50KW class so way more power.
