Police appeal for information following an assault of a man in the Trafford Park area

GMP (Greater Manchester Police) are investigating an incident that took place on Wednesday 17 January 2024 at around 8.25pm on at Fives Soccer Centre, Trafford Way in Trafford Park.

It is believed that a man in his 30’s had been assaulted by an unknown man.

The victim suffered a broken nose and bruising, and a cut to the bridge of his nose which he is getting medical treatment for.

Officers investigating this incident have followed up on a number of lines of enquiry and are now in a position to ask for the public’s assistance.

GMP would like to speak to the man pictured as they believe he could assist with enquires.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time or who may have witnessed the incident.
