Police have carried out a search warrant on the Railway Pub on Manchester Road in Broadheath along with Trafford Council Community Safety Team.

Significant evidence was found at the pub indicating that the premises was being used to offer sexual services and a vulnerable woman was being trafficked outside Trafford to work at the pub.

Two people have been arrested for ‘Controlling prostitution for gain’.

The closure of the pub will be for three months and will end on 20/05/24 at 11.59pm, the council will be looking now at its licence and will decide if the Railway Pub will be closed down forever or it continues to operate.

A document seen by the court says that they are satisfied that a person has engaged or if the order is not made is likely to engage in disorderly, offensive or criminal behaviour on the Premises.
