Customers of mobile network Vodafone UK unhappy after outages

Many Vodafone customers are unhappy after an outage hit the network in Manchester, Birmingham and London today 29 February 2024.

Downdetector website showed the scale of the problem with many reporting no signal and other issues network related see image below (Pic: Downdetector.co.uk)

Vodafone has not yet said anything as to what the issues were although are responding to customers as much as they can to help them.

We have also checked the Vodafone network maps and every mobile phone mast is either down or needing to be checked over by an engineer.

Vodafone also has MVNO users such as Asda Mobile and Lebara Mobile and its own VOXI mobile so they will also be affected by this outage.

It is currently unknown when the service will be back up and running again.
