Man seriously injured after a car crash on A56 in Timperley

Police appeal for information after a man is seriously injured after a collision in Altrincham

Police closed off a section of Manchester Road (A56) in Timperley early this afternoon after a car collision.

Due to the road being closed off drivers are being diverted down Stamford Brook Road going south bound.

A police spokesperson told our reporter at the scene that a man is very unwell and that no other vehicle was involved in the collision, the road won’t be reopened for a while yet whilst the man is treated and investigators ca do their work.

Due to the incident buses will be affected and we suggest looking at bee network social media channels for the latest information.
