Police and Trafford Council’s Trading Standards have obtained a closure order from the magistrates court after the newsagents at Sale Metrolink station were found to have been selling illegal vapes.
In an earlier investigation following reports from the community, council staff and GMP the newsagents was found to be not only selling illegal vapes but selling vapes to children.
Community Safety Officers closed down the newsagents with the closure order on the door, this will remain in place for 3 months and no one is allowed on the premises.
Illegal vapes are much more harmful than regular vapes and vapes should not be allowed to be sold to Children.
