Thief Street, the brainchild of Manchester Chef Jon Green, originally from Urmston, is set to captivate television audiences as it makes its debut appearance on the acclaimed show Adam Richman Eats Britain.

The eagerly anticipated episode featuring Thief Street is scheduled to air on 22 April at 9pm on Food Network. Viewers can tune in to catch the excitement on Freeview channel 43, Freesat channel 148, Sky channel 140, Virgin channel 285, and streaming on discovery+.

The journey of Thief Street began in the midst of the Covid lockdown of 2020, where Chef Jon Green and partner Ellen Birchenough turned a Chorlton apartment into a hub of culinary innovation. Armed with Chef Jon’s 17 years of culinary expertise and a passion for globally inspired flavours, Thief Street emerged as a beacon of creativity and ingenuity in the Manchester food scene.

From humble beginnings as a monthly takeaway night, Thief Street quickly gained popularity, thanks to its unique concept of handmade potato waffles topped with restaurant-quality ingredients. Thief Street became a sensation, enchanting food enthusiasts with its offerings., earning rave reviews and a huge, loyal following.

Today, Thief Street offers a tantalising menu that showcases the best of Asian inspired street food, including handmade potato waffles, gunpowder rice loaded with flavourful toppings, waffle fries and Korean fried chicken. Each dish is meticulously crafted using locally sourced ingredients to ensure freshness and quality with every bite.

Thief Street has now expanded its footprint to two vibrant locations, offering its Asian inspired flavours to food enthusiasts in both Manchester and Stockport. 

Nestled in the heart of Manchester City Centre, diners can indulge in Thief Street’s delectable creations at Gasworks Brew Bar from Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm to 9pm, and Sunday, 12pm to 7pm.

In Stockport, Thief Street delights patrons at The Produce Hall, serving up mouthwatering dishes Tuesday through Thursday from 11am to 9pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 9.30pm, and Sunday from 11am to 8pm. Walk-ins are welcomed at this bustling food hub, Where tantalizing treats beckon from every corner.
