Police close off road in Urmston overnight due to a crash

Police have since reopened Crofts Bank Road in Urmston after a one car collision at around 4am on 29 April 2024.

According to Police lights were out for a while southbound near Sainsbury’s due to the crash

One man has been reported for driving without due care and attention which could mean the driver is disqualified, or 3 to 9 points on his licence.

No reports of anyone seriously injured in this incident.

Looks to be a one vehicle RTC on Crofts Bank Road at about 3.50am. One man was reported for driving without due care and attention.

Crofts Bank Road Southbound has now re-opened following an earlier road traffic collision. Traffic Lights are still out of order. Please be careful at the junction with Sumner Way ( near Sainsburys) Engineers have been called out to assist. Thankyou for your patience
