Emergency services were called to a huge fire at Hardwick Road in Partington at around midday today 2 May 2024.
At this time we believe no one was badly injured in the fire although Police are saying for people to stay away from the scene.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At shortly after 11.45am today (Thursday May 2) five fire engines from Sale, Altrincham, Agecroft, Stretford, and Hollins fire stations alongside a fire engine from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a fire involving mid-terraced houses on Hardwick Road, Partington.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used four hose reels and a jet to quickly extinguish the fire and stop it from spreading to more properties. Crews remain in attendance alongside partner agencies and people are asked to avoid the area while work continues.”
We have asked Greater Manchster Police for more information.
