With Manchester United losing 0-1 at home today (12 May 2024) against Arsenal, this season has been dreadful for the mighty red devils.

It gets worse though as the once glitzy stadium fit for everything is now a relic and very leaky as the stadium roof could not cope with the rain and flooded the stands, other video footage seen from fans shows other areas of the ground flooding with flood water rushing from top to bottom.

Although the random storm was fairly severe with the rain. The stadium roof should have not leaked and present problems for the club, Trafford Council could even look into safety issues at the Old Trafford ground.

The INEOS group now part in control of the club has mentioned many times the desire to move away from Old Trafford now fans who want to stay might be thinking just that bit different.

Of course even if Jim Radcliffe gets the plans of the ground for a new stadium on the area just behind the falling down stadium this would take many years to get the thumbs up and another year or so building it, so the club will have to pay millions to make sure next season 24/25 the stadium has a new roof and with the promise it won’t leak.

We believe the leaks seen are to do with overflowing drains, however as stated we have seen footage of other parts of the stadium flooding in areas where drainage is not an issue and this must be investigated with some urgency,

As for the team United have really one game that they all should give 120% in and that is the FA Cup final at Wembley however the opponents are Manchester City, it won’t be easy but this game is important in many ways for players and fans and anything can happen in a one off game.
