A 74-year-old woman has sadly died following a serious collision in Urmston

Police continue to appeal for information after the crash which occurred on 23 May 2024 at around 8.30pm on Stretford Road in Urmston in which a vehicle had collided with a lamppost.

Due to the injuries the woman sustained she has since sadly died.

A Ford Fiesta was travelling eastbound on Stretford Road, Urmston collided with a lamppost after the driver suffered a suspected medical episode.

No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported.
