Road Closure: Works on Sinderland Lane mean diversions will be in place this weekend

Diversion signs should be in place as Sinderland Lane nearest Broadheath will be closed for one day on Sunday 23 June.

According to GM Roadworks BT will be working on a long section of the country lane which will end just past Birch Road.

No information as to the timings of the road closure have been given although with it being BT it is expected work will happen during the day because of the road closure the Partington Arriva 247 service will be diverted likely down Black Moss Lane from Partington and Altrincham, all other road users will also have to follow the diversion, an option would be to head down Whitehouse Lane on to Sinderland Lane.

If you are a Partington resident this is just the beginning of the problems facing you in the coming months with Covershaw Lane and Moss Lane being shut and likely for a time Chapel Lane that we know about it will affect everyone!
