Festivalgoers will be able to enjoy a feast of fabulous food and delicious drink options at the North-West’s most exciting summer festival next weekend.

The Brit Fest takes place at the Ashley Hall Showground at Altrincham from July 5-7.

And along with an unparalleled music and entertainment programme, people attending the inaugural three-day event will also be able to enjoy an amazing and carefully selected food and drink offer across the huge festival site all weekend.

Hungry festivalgoers who fancy eating their way around the world will be spoilt for choice with firm favourites from a wide range of countries and cuisines, from Indian street food to Caribbean classics and freshly made pizzas to Cypriot halloumi fries, Greek street food, Spanish tapas, katsu noodles and handmade Japanese dumplings.

There is also a strong showing for traditional British fare including fish and chips, Cornish pasties, Cheshire cheese and sweet and savoury crumpets.

Vegans and vegetarians will be well catered for across the site, while Grills and Chills offers fine dining as street food.

And plenty of sweet treats are also promised for festivalgoers from donuts and ice cream to churros and chocolate, homemade brownies, cakes and cookies, and sweets.

Meanwhile there’s a wide range of bars, stalls and trucks offering alcoholic and soft drinks, plus teas and coffees.

Manchester’s Zymurgorium Gin will be on hand to offer refreshing locally distilled spirits, while beers and lagers, Irish stout, cider, wine, prosecco, spirits and soft drinks will be on offer at bars located in key areas including the Main Music Arena, Action Zone and Village Green.

Enjoy freshly squeezed fruit juices and homemade lemonade, choose from tasty flavours of frozen drinks courtesy of Tango Ice Blast or grab a hot drink from Xtreme Coffee which will have two outlets at the festival.

A wide selection of vendors will be based in the Taste Cheshire Village and Village Green, but festival food and drink will also be available throughout the 100-acre site.

The extensive food and drink offer is all part of the brilliant line-up at the inaugural summer festival.

On the main stage music fans can enjoy a stellar line-up of British music acts and legendary chart-toppers including Bonnie Tyler, Scouting for Girls, Cast, Dodgy, The Feeling, Paul Young, Kim Wilde, Tunde from The Lighthouse Family, T’Pau, Toploader, Fleur East, Heather Small, Sonia and Hot Chocolate.

And there is also a full line-up of bands, choirs, DJs, solo acts, cover outfits, authors, wellness experts and motivational speakers on the site’s ABC+ Warranty Stage including M60, The Covasettes, Prose, Daisy Valentine, Megan Wyn and many more during the three-day event.

In addition, there is a bumper programme of amazing entertainment with something to appeal to everyone from thrilling fairground rides, a freefall stunt tower and a daredevil extreme mountain bike show to classic cars, cinema treats for adults and children, comedy acts, samba carnival fun, and relaxing activities in the Mindful Meadow.
