Police need to talk to a man following a theft in Altrincham

Police officers want to talk to a man following the theft of a woman’s purse in Bowden Parish Centre, Stamford Road, Altrincham around 1:30pm on Monday 10 June 2024.

The victim reported the man in question was filming the church before she turned away and her bag was stolen. Her bank card was then used at a local Argos within Sainsburys and at a Tesco store – which came to £140

The victim also reported her car keys and paperwork were in her bag when taken although no information is to hand if the man had also taken the car.

No arrests have been made at this stage.
