Police have arrested three men after a robbery took place in Manchester City Centre on 16 June 2024 at around 3am in the morning.

The robbery took place on Market Street and the victim a man in his 20’s was attacked with a bottle but didn’t suffer any life-threatening injuries.

Police officers identified the suspects today 23 July 2024 and three men two aged 18 and a 29-year-old remain in custody for questioning.

Detective Inspector Natalie McDonald said; “This is an example of our ongoing work into investigations where we continue to track and trace suspects by utilising a number of methods.

“Alongside our proactive patrols and briefings, we managed to identify and then locate three people we strongly believe are linked to this incident.

“Our work now is trying to obtain further evidence to ensure we progress the investigation and provide the necessary support to the victim.”
