More road closures will give Partington residents travel nightmares

Partngton residents must feel like they are being blocked in this year after several road closures have occurred in and around the area and more to come!

With no further information coming back from One Trafford about when Covershaw Lane near Partington will reopen the fastest route is heading down Moss Lane from Warburton Lane.

In October two parts of that same road are ‘scheduled’ to be closed and other works in different parts of Moss Lane will further slow things down.

On 1st October BT will be doing work which means a section of Moss Lane will have to close fortunately it will be for only one day this could be during early morning.

Work further down Moss Lane towards Sinderland Lane is ‘scheduled’ to happen on 30 October by Scottish Power this will take until 4 November

Further on down Sinderland Lane near Birch Road work will commence on 27/08/24 until 03/09/24 which means this part of Sinderland Lane will be closed, Trafford Council are listed to do the work, resurfacing is likely and much needed.

Timings of the road closures have not been given and expect road diversions to be in place.
