One of the biggest fly-tips of 2024 seen in country lanes heading towards Partington

One of the biggest fly tips was spotted by many people at the weekend next to the bus stop on Sinderland Lane, Dunham Massey.

At the scene was two fairly large fridges and other household items including a red jacket and white duvet.

What is worse about this fly tip is a municipal tip is only about 10 minutes away, this is not the first we have seen a fly tip at this site and it would be for the council to add cameras to deter would people who think its clever to do such a thing.

Despite what people might think and despite it being Dunham Massey, Trafford Council has to deal with the fly tipping and other things.

Fly tips like this also cause damage to the environment and looks dreadful for both existing and new people coming through.

Those that are caught fly tipping in any part of the borough could face prosecution if the council finds out who was responsible, anyone with information about this fly tip no matter how small must contact the council as soon as possible.

People have to also understand that all Trafford’s tips allow up to 2 tonnes of household waste to be dumped a year free of charge.
