North West Air Ambulance service responded to calls about a cyclist coming off his bike on Bridgewater Canal tow path following a call on 5 September 2024 at around 8.30am
The Air Ambulance landed on the football field in Walton Park and staff raced to the tow path to help the cyclist.
A man in his 40’s was taken to hospital to be treated for bad injuries he sustained in the crash.
People at the scene told us that the man had been riding fast on an E-bike and somehow lost control, it was claimed he had bad injuries to his face and upper chest.
It is believed no police attended the scene.
