Bath tubs found dumped in Partington

Fly tipping is a disgrace however we bumped into several bath tubs on Covershaw Lane which has been closed for months due to a small sinkhole.

This is the first bath tub fly-tip we have ever come across and it smelt bad in the area they were dumped, it is currently unknown who dumped them however it is likely to be a trades person who took advantage of the road being closed and wanted to save money on going to the tip.

Although our reporter did not want to stick around for long due to the smells coming from the bath tubs he did not see anything that would identify the culprit so Trafford Council will have no one to fine this time unless a sneaky CCTV camera is hiding somewhere.

People who get caught fly tipping are brought to court and fined heavily, household waste can be dumped at all Trafford’s tips for free up to 2 tonnes a year!
