Tonight we will see a Supermoon or ‘Harvest Moon’ in the sky which will be followed by a partial eclipse during the early hours of Wednesday.
With the current conditions remaining clear it would be a good time to step out and get some pictures, as its so big even mobile phone cameras will get a decent picture, it is though best to get pictures of a DSLR or Bridge Camera for quality.
When the partial eclipse occurs the moon will go red in colour which will make it worth staying up for.
The moon will be in the South tonight but should be seen by all so long as the night remains clear.
