Heads up: IX Wireless is coming to Trafford

Many of us have seen the protests against IX WIreless due to the huge weird looking monopoles they build near people’s homes in many parts of the North West.

Now they are doing some work for the first time here in Trafford, On 24 to 26 September engineers are working at a site on Manor Avenue close to the 5G mobile phone masts.

Unlike mobile phone masts the company does not need to go through planning so the only people that can stop the 82ft monopoles is the residents, in recent times in other areas of Manchester they have been placed too close to property.

IX Wireless itself is a well known communications company offering super fast broadband, however the way they bring you the broadband is through a thing called millimetre wave and what that does is give off a microwave beam invisible to the naked eye.

We have asked IX Wireless for more information on the work being carried out on Manor Avenue in Sale and if they have any information as to where they are going to be building more of these monopoles.
