At around 3pm (Friday 18 October) on Blackley New Road in Manchester a woman driver had a suspected medical episode whilst driving her car, resulting in a collision with another car and a bus.
The collision resulted in serious injury for the driver. A scene was put in place and the driver was taken to hospital for treatment on her injuries, which are potentially life-threatening.
Investigators are now appealing for anyone who may have dash cam, mobile phone or CCTV footage to come forward and assist their investigation.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741, quoting log 1999 of 18/10/2024.
