Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on 18 November at around 5.30pm, after a man tried to stop his vehicle from rolling down a road in Hale Barns.
Emergency services attended the scene, and a 40-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The victim was sat in the front passenger seat of the vehicle which was initially parked up and stationary on Shay Lane on a slight decline.
Initial enquiries suggest while he waited for his work colleague to return to the vehicle, the vehicle began to roll down Shay Lane and there has been an attempt to prevent this.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
