Trafford MV kick off their final home game of the season this Saturday at MacPherson Park, M33 6LR and will be looking for the support of their home supporter base to get them over the line in what will be a defining relegation battle.

Realistically Trafford MV need to win both of their remaining games against Glossop and then at Liverpool St Helens on April 5th to avoid relegation however just 6 league points separate 6 clubs in danger of the second relegation spot with Glossop already doomed following a points deduction imposed on them. Trafford future is in their own hands – the players know what is needed !

Saturdays game will be preceded by a Presidents Lunch in the Clubhouse hosted by Club President Bernard Millington. The 1st XV game against Glossop 1st XV will then kick off at 3.00pm and the call is out to all local supporters to come along and get behind the team – admission is free.

Trafford MV will be turning out 3 teams once again this weekend, being one of the few clubs in the area to still offer social rugby for the occasional, non training player profile. The 2nd XV travel away to Glossop while the TMV 3rd XV will host Oldham 2nd XV all games with a 3.00pm kick off.

Sunday see’s Trafford MV Ladies take on Chester Deva’s away from home while the TMV teenage teams both travel away to play U17’s at Burnley and U18’s at New Brighton.
