Altrincham gold winning gymnasts to represent the North West at the British Finals in May

Gymnasts from Altrincham’s Gymfinity club won several awards at the recent North West Acrobatic Championships and will now go on to represent the North West at the British Finals in May.

The winning gymnasts in North West Acrobatic Championships are:

• DP 2 WG – gold – Melissa Cape, Amelia Craske and Macy Jones
• Aspire WG – silver – Megan Davis, Sophia Bird and Alexa Munro
• G4 WP – gold – Charlotte Mills and Ela Senses
• G4 MxP – gold – Noah Sims and Ariah Weekes Ankers
• G3 MxP – gold – Jensen Clarke and Grace Hor
• G2 WP – bronze – Libby Johnson and Eva Kelly
• G3 MxP Jensen and Grace also won both the Viv Kirkham memorial trophy for the highest technical score of the whole North West competition and the Julie Heslop memorial trophy for the highest artistry score of the whole North West competition, an incredible overall score of 28.00

The gold medal winners have qualified to represent the North West at the prestigious British Finals at Stoke on Trent in May.
