Acclaimed swing vocalist and Manchester crooner Wayne Devlin is bringing the golden age of jazz swing back to life — one song at a time.
With the launch of his new monthly performance series, Live at Mulino, Wayne is setting out to revive and celebrate the timeless sounds of the Great American Songbook right in the heart of Urmston.
The first event kicks off Thursday, April 17th, at Mulino Restaurant, transforming the venue into the elegance of yesteryear for an evening of jazz swing classics, vintage style, and soulful storytelling.
Devlin’s rich baritone will take audiences on a journey through the music of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole, and more — with signature renditions of standards like “New York, New York,” “My Way,” and “Mack the Knife.”
“These songs built the soundtrack of generations — and they deserve to be experienced the way they were meant to be: live, intimate, and from the heart,” says Devlin. “Live at Mulino is my way of keeping that spirit alive and giving audiences a place to fall in love with jazz swing again.”
Wayne Devlin, a long-time ambassador for The Great American Songbook, has made his mark not just as a performer but as a cultural bridge — preserving tradition while connecting with modern audiences through his performances.
Live at Mulino will run monthly, each night spotlighting a curated set of standards and Wayne’s signature Mancunian charm. These events will bring nostalgia to those who love and remember the collection of songs or ignite a new passion for those hearing them for the first time.
