People report seeing two helicopters roaming over the Sale area

We got reports of = about two helicopters that were hovering over the Sale area yesterday 28 April at around 7pm.

The helicopters, both possibly Eurocopter Dauphin style, came from the east of Manchester before heading over Sale Waterside (see video) and then turning south. It is believed both helicopters were seen around the Brooklands Road area; it is not known at this time if either had landed anywhere.

Both helicopters did not have a squawk number, which identifies an aircraft. It is likely these helicopters were the same that attended Media City in Salford on a training flight for military staff.

It is unusual for the military to be in one of these helicopters, though normally these personnel would use helicopters such as Chinook. What a sight! It is hoped they will be back so more people get to see them.
