Police appeal for information following a robbery in Longford Park

Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Longford Park, Stretford.

At around 12:30pm on 30 May 2025 the victim, a 13-year-old boy, had his e-scooter taken from him in Longford Park, Stretford by a male who is alleged to have kicked him, and left the scene with the scooter.

According to statistics both e-bike and e-scooter theft has risen sharply in the last 5-years with Sky News reporting a huge 732% increase in thefts from a person.
