Mulino Restaurant brought a true taste of Italy to YUM! – Your Urmston Matters Food & Drink Festival recently and quickly became one of the day’s standout attractions.
Held on Railway Road and organized by Love Urmston, the event celebrated the very best of local food, drink, and community, and Mulino delivered in style.
Crowds gathered in awe as Mulino’s team prepared their signature Parmigiana Cheese Wheel Pasta, freshly tossed inside a hollowed-out wheel of aged Parmigiana cheese. As the heat of the pasta melted the cheese, the air filled with rich, savory aromas—drawing festivalgoers in and creating a steady queue throughout the day.
“It was an incredible day for us,” said Zola Martini, owner of Mulino. “The response was overwhelming. We couldn’t have asked for more—so many smiling faces, people filming the cheese wheel, and coming back for more. We’re proud to be part of such a vibrant community.”
Beyond the theatrical flair, Mulino’s offering was a tribute to traditional Italian cooking: simple ingredients done exceptionally well. Their stall quickly became one of the most talked-about spots at the festival, with guests sharing photos and videos across social media, praising both the flavor and the spectacle.
The YUM! Festival, short for Your Urmston Matters, continues to grow year on year, and Mulino’s success at this year’s event cements its status as a cornerstone of Urmston’s buzzing independent food scene.
If you missed it, don’t worry; Mulino’s doors are open all year round, serving up their trademark passion and flavor just around the corner in the heart of town.
