Protesters from left and right came to Altrincham yesterday (27 July) to peacefully let off some steam about their concerns regarding the migrants who have been living in the Cresta Court Hotel.

The protesters gathered at around 5 PM and were much louder than the last protest. More people attended, including popular YouTubers either streaming live or recording footage. Those who were supporting the migrants were singing and shouting pretty much the same things as they did last time, and this continued for the duration of their presence.

With the majority against the migrants being in the hotel, the patriots, many with Union Jack flags and hats, claim they are not racist at all; they just think the government, and of course the previous one, needs to get a grip on the situation and return those who do not belong in the UK.

The obvious issues are not just in Altrincham but in other places where illegal migrants are being housed. Local people do not know anything about these individuals, and bigger issues arise, such as concerns that they are being treated better than everyone else, which is a perfectly reasonable worry.

People know that immigration is well and truly out of control, and statistics provided by the government are misleading, as many recognize that the number being returned is either voluntary or due to expired visas. This is also widely reported in mainstream media.

We have been investigating and learning about the migrants who have interacted with us, and behaviors have changed. Firstly, it is important not only to us as a media outlet but also to our readers that they receive balanced reporting.

From many migrants, we have been told that they do receive Universal Credit, which the DWP also confirmed was true. They receive an Aspen card, which we have seen; the amount ranges from £8 to £40 per week. Other provisions include free clothing and mobile phones, several of which have been shown to be top-end iPhones and Samsungs. It is currently unknown if they have to pay for phone calls and data while away from the hotel, but they do receive Wi-Fi from Cresta Court Hotel.

They get three meals a day; some migrants have told us they have rice and some ready-made meals, while others are not happy with what they are offered. Clothes are washed and dried at the hotel, and many people know that they receive free energy and do not pay for water or council tax.

It is not 100% clear how long they can stay in that hotel; some say 56 days, while others claim they have been staying there since they arrived at a high cost to the taxpayer.

Some of the migrants have been fighting in the hotel, according to a few who spoke to us at the hotel and at the tents that were once outside Trafford Council at Waterside in Sale. Security at the hotel, as far as we are aware, has been able to calm them down.

One migrant from Sudan, who was very nice to our reporter in Sale, told us that he was bored and that the council wasn’t helping him find a place to live. He and the others are having issues with language; not many fully understand English.

As time went on, the migrants at the Altrincham Hotel became less hospitable, no longer saying hello, waving, or showing thumbs up; they now are swearing from windows at anyone with a camera or microphone.

Security has been dreadful throughout, ignoring repeated requests for information; others have also had no success with them either, which we believe has been very unhelpful.

While the UK is now heading for ‘free speech’ issues, silencing people who dare to offer only an opinion about illegal migration or other governmental actions, we feel that all understandable protests must continue to be peaceful and not provide any reasons for the government to perpetuate the draconian approach it has chosen and make things worse.

We have to understand that the way they operate is to use something that you will find reasonable, for example, the safety of children online. However, they could now do much more, with the scary prospect of a National ID Card further controlling you.

Added to this is the prospect of a cashless society, and with the ID card and having your payments in the same app, if you do something wrong, they could cut off your money. The reason they want people on a Smart Meter is so they can also cut your electricity and gas, although this will be presented under another guise: ‘We need to save electricity or gas due to demand,’ or something similar.

This illegal migration issue is not by coincidence! It is a plan from the last and this government to control the nation. By falling for the tricks associated with this illegal migration, having smart meters is doing just that! Do not accept this and continue to remain peaceful at migrant hotels.
