Junior adventurers can try their hand at potion making, broomstick creating, and pumpkin carving at We Are Adventurers’ October holiday club as the outdoor learning provider launches new themed days designed to connect Halloween with the natural world.

Taking place from Monday, 27th October to Friday, 31st, children aged 4 to 11 can expect action-packed days featuring a range of creative and physical activities across three sites in South Manchester.

The activities will be spread across the week alongside some of the club’s favorite activities, with forest familiarization games, free play, and classic marshmallow toasting to bring each day to a close.

We Are Adventurers founder, Paul Wilcox, said: “The crunching of leaves underfoot and the crisp autumn air is the perfect setting for children to connect with nature.

“Halloween is a magical event rooted in the traditional harvest festivals. With nocturnal animals like bats, owls, and spiders taking center stage, the forest is the perfect place to celebrate the festival, and we’re delivering all of the fun – but none of the fear.”

Since 2013, We Are Adventurers has delivered outdoor learning and forest school experiences to more than 10,000 children across Greater Manchester, with a mission to help young people grow in confidence, resilience, and joy, one campfire at a time.

Each full-day session runs from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and is priced at £35 per child. Sibling discounts are available. Childcare vouchers can be used. OFSTED registered.

Children are advised not to wear fancy dress to avoid creating a hazard during fire-based activities.
