Don’t miss out on the chance to meet a popular star of children’s TV in a sense-ational exhibition at the Science and Industry Museum this November.
Dr. Chris Van Tulleken, one of the presenters of the hit BBC Children and Education show, Operation Ouch!, will be at the Science and Industry Museum on Sunday, 9 November, to meet visitors who are journeying through the senses in the blockbuster exhibition, Operation Ouch! Brains, Bogies and You.
As well as joining mini medics on the voyage, Dr. Chris will be on hand to answer brain teasers from the audience during a series of live Q&As. Tickets to meet Dr. Chris are now available to book via the museum’s website (www.scienceandindustrymuseum.org.uk/whats-on/meet-dr-chris).
Dr. Chris, alongside his co-hosts (and twin) Dr. Xand and Dr. Ronx, has provided unique inspiration for the museum’s latest world-premiere exhibition, which sees visitors take on an epic romp through the senses.
Whether it’s banging on a super-sized eardrum, venturing into a massive eyeball, and even taking a whiff of a “smell library,” the exhibition dives into the science behind hearing, sight, touch, taste, and smell.
To celebrate Dr. Chris’ visit, the museum is introducing additional sense-themed activities on Saturday, 8 – Sunday, 9 November.
Sight and sound will be examined during an interactive experience led by the museum’s expert Explainers, who will unpick optical and audio illusions that bamboozle our brains, and visitors can also explore their sense of touch during a sensory walk.
