Mayor of Trafford, Cllr Jane Brophy, said:
“It is vitally important we remember all the members of our Armed Forces who have given so much to protect us and our way of life.
Without the brave actions and sacrifices made by our military, we would not enjoy the freedom we used to have. It’s therefore right that each year at this time, we take a moment to pause and reflect on the bravery and dedication to duty of our Armed Forces.
I would urge everyone to attend one of the services in our borough to pay our respects and give our thanks in remembrance of the fallen.”
