Visitors are invited to ho-ho-head over to Eureka! for a holly jolly day filled with frosty experiments and festive discoveries in the science centre’s one-of-a-kind Christmas science show! Little ones and grown-ups alike can explore the fascinating science behind the season… from twinkling lights to snowy surprises… in a lively, hands-on performance that’s sure to make spirits bright!

Mrs Claus’ Curious Crafts
After the science show, families can join Mrs Claus herself in the Make Create space for a special festive workshop. Mrs Claus will begin by sharing some Christmas lore – ever wondered where Christmas trees come from, or why we decorate them? Then, under her guidance, young makers can design and decorate their very own Christmas tree ornament to take home.
Children can choose from a range of shapes – including classic baubles, gingerbread men, snowflakes, and snowmen – before letting their creativity sparkle with paints, glitter, glue, collage materials, pipe cleaners, and more!
While the mini artists craft, a friendly Eureka! elf will host a festive scent bag challenge – can visitors guess the Christmas smells hidden inside? There’ll also be a Christmas-themed dress-up area and imaginative playhouses featuring a festive kitchen and toy roast dinner set, perfect for little ones to explore.
