Man dies after crashing his car into a wall in Timperley

A man who crashed his car into a wall in Timperley yesterday morning (15 December) was taken to hospital where he sadly died.

The man aged 87 crashed his Ford Kuga vehicle into a garden wall on Moss Lane, it is believed that he suffered a medical episode.

Police had taped off the road whilst paramedics gave treatment to the man and later took him to hospital.

A statement from GMP said: “Officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for information and witnesses following a road traffic collision in Timperley.

“As officers continue their investigation, they are asking for anyone with information to please come forward.This includes anyone who witnessed the incident, or has CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage from the area.
