Trafford MV have a feast in store for all rugby lovers this Saturday as they roll out 3 senior men’s teams once again this season.
The club’s 1st XV play host to Tarleton and will be looking to improve further on recent good performances to secure a vital win in round 15 of the Counties 1 ADM Lancashire & Cheshire League, kicking off at 2:15 PM. A Valentine’s Day massacre must be avoided at all costs, as results are now critical for TMV. Admission to the game is free.
Trafford’s 2nd and 3rd XVs both take to the road, with North Manchester and Oldham the respective opposition – there will be no sweet talking for sure, as all 4 teams are side by side in their league tables. With results vital to league positions, neither game will be a walk in the park!
Trafford MV are calling on their supporters to show big home support but also call out to local neutrals and to people new to rugby to come down and watch a game and enjoy the atmosphere around a game of rugby.
The Clubhouse will be open for the Six Nations games showing on the TV through the afternoon, opening with Ireland vs. Italy at 2:10 PM, followed by the much-heralded Calcutta Cup clash between Scotland and England at 4:40 PM. The game will be shown on big screens, and bar and hot street food will be available for purchase. No need to book a table and non-members are very welcome.
Come down to Trafford MV on Valentine’s Day and show your heart!
New players of all ages are always welcome to join the rugby family that is found at Trafford MV – for info on any aspect of the club, please contact wilfdooley@virginmedia.com
