A brand-new boxing and fitness facility is set to make its mark in North Manchester as M27 Boxing & Fitness Centre officially opens its doors, bringing elite-level coaching and community-driven training to the area.
The boxing and fitness centre will be led by highly respected coach Blain Younis, best known for his work with former world champion Ricky Hatton. His appointment as head coach is expected to attract significant interest from boxing enthusiasts across Greater Manchester and beyond.
Adding further star power to the launch, Campbell Hatton, son of Ricky Hatton, will be in attendance on Saturday 28th March, alongside Ibrahim Nadim, the newly crowned English super featherweight champion. They will be joined by Jack Murphy, a rising super featherweight prospect, and Stacey Copeland, ABA champion, European silver medallist and Commonwealth super welterweight champion.
The opening will also feature live boxing sessions and pad work with some of the headline names, including Campbell Hatton, giving visitors the opportunity to watch the action up close. Members of the public will also be able to take part in open sessions, offering a hands on introduction to boxing training and a chance to experience pad work for themselves.
Located at Unit 20, Agecroft Enterprise Park, Swinton (M27 8WA), the centre offers a wide range of classes and training opportunities designed to cater to all ages and fitness levels, from beginners to experienced athletes.
The facility combines traditional boxing training with modern fitness programmes, including strength and endurance sessions, high-intensity workouts, personal training, yoga, and group classes in a supportive and motivating environment.
To celebrate the launch, M27 Boxing & Fitness will host an Open Day on Saturday 28th March from 12–3pm, featuring live DJ entertainment, boxing workouts, gym challenges, refreshments, and prizes.
Alex Zuk, Local businessman and founder said: “We wanted to create more than just a gym but a place where people of all backgrounds and abilities can come together, train hard, and feel part of something special. Having Blain on board brings a level of expertise and credibility that’s hard to match, and we’re excited to build a strong boxing community here in North Manchester.”
Blain Younis adds: “Manchester has a rich heritage of producing world class boxers and athletes and I’m excited to be part of this new and exciting initiative. Whether you’re a keen young amateur or someone looking to be part of a fitness community, we’re looking forward to sharing our fantastic facilities and helping you progress on your journey.”
With a packed weekly timetable of classes running from early morning through to evening sessions, the centre aims to provide flexible training options for busy lifestyles while maintaining a high standard of coaching and facilities.
M27 Boxing & Fitness positions itself as a “powerhouse of North Manchester,” combining professional coaching with an inclusive atmosphere designed to help members feel “unstoppable”.
