Josh Beaumont Donates £8,000 to Sale Sharks Foundation

Sale Sharks Foundation is delighted to announce that Josh Beaumont has made a generous donation of £8,000 to the charity as part of his testimonial fundraising.

The ex‑Sale Sharks forward, now Business Development Manager at the club, committed to supporting a number of causes close to his heart during his testimonial year, with the Foundation selected as one of the charities he pledged to support.

Josh’s contribution reflects his long‑standing commitment to strengthening communities across the North West and backing the Foundation’s programmes that make a meaningful difference to so many people.

Josh presented a cheque to Foundation CEO Abi Dean and members of our Down Syndrome rugby team, the Crusaders, at the club’s recent Lots of Socks match against Bath – a moment that highlighted his ongoing passion for giving back to the community that championed him throughout his career.

On his donation, Josh Beaumont said:

“Sale Sharks Foundation has played such an important role in our community for so many years, and I’ve seen first-hand the impact their programmes have on people across the North West. Being able to donate part of my testimonial fundraising to support their work means a great deal to me. Rugby and this club have given me so much, and this is a small way of giving something back to a charity that helps change lives through the power of our sport.”
