Fire fighters was dealing with a Tesco van fire this evening which started at around 8.30pm on the A56 in Stretford, Police have blocked the road both ways.
It is believed the van driver got out before the fire took hold and no one else is hurt.
The fire destroyed the van which was situated close to the Gorse Hill Youth Centre, the road was blacked for a time and has now re-opened.
