Drivers were caught out today July 13 after police issued six traffic offence reports within an hour on Langdale Road in Sale.

They all went southbound through the no entry sign, that is clear for all to see, trying to avoid some of the traffic delays on the A56 towards the roadworks at Park Road.

Police said: “These people, were fully aware of their actions and will face prosecution.

“Remember your highway code.”

Police also told a resident that cyclists also cannot go through a no entry sign either on the road or on the pavement.

Cycling on the pavement is an offence, but sometimes if it is safer or you are or have been shaken up due to the now very dangerous roads we suggest to get off your bike and get onto the pavement when it is safe to do so and walk until you have calmed down.
