Bogus Environmental Health Officer On The Loose In Trafford

All of Trafford’s businesses are being warned about a woman posing as an Environmental Health Officer.

She carried out an inspection of a restaurant and declared the premises ‘Unhygienic’ and then stated that she was going to close down the establishment.

It turns out the women was an imposter and was not an Environmental Health Officer.

Impersonation of an environmental health officer or a Trading Standards Officer is a criminal offence

Police are saying “If an officer calls at your business, always ask for ID and do not be afraid to ring Trafford Council to check them out on 0161 912 4509”

Trafford Council told us they could not say anything due to data protection.
