The River Mersey and its catchments at Altrincham, Sale, Urmston are currently not on any flood watch but with river levels everywhere rising it will not be long before it has the warning that flooding is possible.

Currently, two places in and around Trafford have a flood alert, Sale Water Park and Baguley Brook at Northern Moor.

We estimate that Flixton will be next after checking all morning we see river levels rising at that location.
