An increase in car theft in the Timperley area has got police telling the public to hide any valuables you have in your car.
At 2.43am on Aug 24 on Rossett Avenue in Timperley, two males broke into two vehicles a Cherokee Jeep and a Toyota on the occupant’s driveway.
The description of the offender is he is a white male, around 25-years-old, medium build and wearing dark clothing, it is thought he may well have been wearing a cap.
Two more cars were broken into overnight, one on Oakdene Road in Timperley which was a Citroen C4.
And Arderne Road in Timperley and that car broken into was a Peugeot 308, both cars had items stolen from them.
