A pensioner aged 90-years-old was robbed in her own home in Stretford.

The incident happened on Oct 17 at around 2pm on Debenham Road, where two males told her they were from the council and that the water needed turning off, as he was talking to her the other male went into her front room.
The male who went looking for what he could grab was caught out by the resident and both then fled.
Shortly after they had gone, the 91-year-old resident found her purse with some cash in it had been stolen.
The Description of both offenders are:
First Male is described as white, aged between 20 and 30, he was around 5ft 2ins tall and of stocky build, he was wearing a hat or cap and had on a high vis long sleeve jacket and spoke with a local accent.
The second male had his back to the victim, and was taller than the first male, he was of slim build and wearing a dark coloured duffel coat, he also spoke with a local accent.
Male 2: Had is back to the victim. He was taller that the first male and is of slim build. He was wearing a dark coloured Duffel coat. He spoke with a local accent.
Police are reminding residents to make sure all windows are closed and their doors are locked, if you have elderly neighbours in the area please make them aware of what has happened and to always check ID of anyone calling at their address, and if any doubts never let anyone into your address.
